CHRISTMAS PEACE

THE hosts of heaven heralded the birth of Jesus with joy and praise of God: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men" (Luke 2: 14) . Their message transcended sound.

"THE SCIENTIFIC SENSE OF HEALTH"

IN describing the effect of the true nature of health, Mary Baker Eddy writes in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" ( p. 373 ), "Establish the scientific sense of health, and you relieve the oppressed organ.

THE HUMAN FOOTSTEPS

THE human footsteps are essential to the Christian Scientist, but they are not taken in matter. They are the advancing steps in the spiritualization of individual human consciousness, and they have their manifestation in improved spiritual understanding, therefore in improved experience.

"WHAT MANNER OF MAN IS THIS"

What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!" ( Matt. 8:27.

A PERFECT BALANCE

Christian Science healing is based upon the revelation of God as absolute Truth, perfect Mind, and of man as Mind's perfect, hence absolute, formation—God's likeness, which cannot be contaminated by evil. And it interprets the healings and the life of Christ Jesus as proofs of these facts.

THE SECRET PLACE

Man's awareness of his total inclusion in God is private and sacred. It is referred to by the word "secret" both in the Bible and in the writings of Mary Baker Eddy, who discovered and founded Christian Science and thus brought to mankind the Comforter promised by Christ Jesus.

GOD'S KNOWING

THE discovery of Christian Science by Mary Baker Eddy has brought to light the fact that the creative function of Deity, divine Mind, is a ceaseless, knowing activity and that creation is the formation of that knowing—an infinity of divine ideas. Mrs.

THE name of Jesus is one we all reverence. As our Way-shower he pointed the way of salvation which enables us to run a straight course and attain our spiritual objective.
