Testimonies of Healing
To the editor: Will you kindly give space in your valuable Journal for the insertion of the following facts, as I feel compelled to make them public. In June, 1881, at the birth of my little girl, I sustained injuries which rendered life a burden to me.
I was taken sick the last of September, 1885, and was not off my bed for four weeks. I was under the treatment of a physician from May or June, 1886, until June 2, 1887, and I was in bed a great deal of the time.
Dear Journal: I had a bone felon, which first began to be painful on the third of June last. Three days later, between the doctor's treatment and the poultice, I was nearly frenzied with suffering and loss of sleep.
Having received benefits through Christian Science, I feel anxious for all to know the Truth. I was an invalid for more than two years and a half.
My first introduction occurred in October, 1886. At that time I had been ill for many years.

A man came to me a few weeks ago to be treated for dipsomania. He had been drinking very hard for years; but said he would like to stop, and wanted to know if I thought I could cure him.
Dear Journal: I would like to tell you what Christian Science is doing for us here in Bath. Last Tuesday, as another man and myself were going up a ladder, and carrying some two-hundred-and-thirty pounds of chain, he let his load slip from his shoulder.
