Testimonies of Healing
The Christ is ever present, and we can experience the benefits of its tender action wherever we are, no matter what. It was the first time I was called to be a substitute soloist for a Sunday service at a Church of Christ, Scientist, and I wanted to do it well.
A few months ago, I awoke in the night in extreme pain. I had been sound asleep and could not tell where in my body the pain was located.
In my life I have found that prayer is answered in so many varied ways, but always in the way that heals and is most understandable at the moment help is needed, leaving me with a largess of peace and a deepness of comfort. A number of years ago, I was very concerned about our eldest daughter, who was floundering in a destructive relationship with a young man in a different state far from us.
