THEOLOGY'S FIVE POINTS

From the July 1885 issue of The Christian Science Journal


The Rev. J. F. Clark, in a recent sermon, gives the five points of New Theology, as follows:—

The Fatherhood of God.
The Brotherhood of Man.
The Leadership of Jesus.
The Salvation by Character.
The Progress of Mankind.
The five points of Calvinism are:—
The Fall of Man.
The Redemption by Christ.
Predestination.
Perseverance.
Final Salvation, or Damnation.

Christian Science states its five points as follows:— God made all that was made, and without Him was nothing made that was made. He finished His work and pronounced it good .
