Article XVII.
Committee on Business.—Sect. 8. The Christian Science Board of Directors shall elect annually a Committee on Business, which shall consist of not less than three loyal members of The Mother Church, who shall transact promptly and efficiently such business as Mrs. Eddy, the Directors, or the Committee on Publication shall commit to it. There shall be a Committee on Business, of one or more members, wherever Mrs. Eddy resides. The members of these Committees shall be paid from the Church fund.
Article XXXV.
No Lectures by Readers. — Sect. 5. No lectures shall be given by a Reader during his term of readership. The duties alone of a Reader are ample.
