It is with grateful hearts that we acknowledge the great good Christian Science has brought to our family. In April, 1904, our little daughter, then three years old, had an operation for the removal of the decayed mastoid bone, the operation being a very severe one and requiring a great deal of care. It was necessary to dress the wound once or twice each day, but in spite of all the physicians could do, the healing did not take place, and in August of the same year the physician said that owing to the diseased condition nothing would save her except another operation. Having seen the unsatisfactory result of the first operation, we disliked to subject the child to another one, and in our extremity we turned to Christian Science for help. With less than three weeks" treatment the child was entirely healed, and the bone which was removed has been replaced with a perfect and healthy one. The child is now almost eight years old, is strong and healthy, and has manifested no return of the trouble since she had Christian Science treatment.
This is one of the many reasons which we have for gratitude to God, and to Mrs. Eddy for this way of truth which has been revealed through the Bible and the Christian Science text-book.— Reinbeck, Ia.
