Our daughter had been suffering for two years with a severe nervous trouble, so that her limbs became distorted. The spasms were well-nigh continuous during the last period. All the physicians in the neighborhood and some from a distance were consulted, but it all was of no avail. My wife and I would often say to each other that if God did not allow a miracle to be performed we should have to give up our daughter as incurable.
We then heard of Christian Science through acquaintances, and immediately applied to a practitioner in Hannover. She came to see us upon our request, and after the first treatment the terrible attacks ceased. In six weeks' time our daughter was entirely well and able to go to school, which had been impossible for her during all this time. This is to us a wonderful proof of God's omnipotence, as taught and explained in Christian Science.
