I feel impelled to express our sincere gratitude for the healing of our daughter, two and a half years old. In August, 1910, she became afflicted with a skin disease on the upper arm. The examining physician diagnosed the case; but despite medical treatment the condition not only did not improve but continued to grow worse, and the eruption extended over the whole arm and farther still. The trouble was painful besides, and we were in a state of constant worry lest it should spread over the entire body.
We had already heard through friends of Christian Science and its wonderful healing work, and all other means having failed, we decided to turn to it for help. We wrote to a Christian Science practitioner in Hannover and told her about the child's pitiful condition, begging her to take up treatment at once. She did so, and we could see an improvement from the start; in fact, the healing made such rapid progress that the child was entirely free with two weeks' treatment, and she has remained well since.
We thank God from the depths of our heart for showing us the way to Truth, and for the great blessing which has come to us through the healing of our child.— Wolfenbüttel, Germany
