When Christian Science found me over six years ago, I was a sufferer from severe stomach trouble. I had tried different climates, traveling from East to West, also different doctors. Some said I had one thing, some another, but I was sick seven years and suffered every day of this time. Christian Science was mentioned to me two or three different times during my sickness, but I could not consent to leave my medicine for a day, as I believed it was all that kept me alive. I had lived on the lightest diet and was greatly reduced in weight. At the end of this time, when I thought I had only a few hours to live, we called for help from a Christian Science practitioner, who gave me an absent treatment. In half an hour I was up and dressed, and asked for something to eat. It was given me and did not hurt me in the least. I have been well ever since.
