I want to express a deep sense of gratitude for the understanding of Truth which has come to me through the study of Christian Science. I am deeply grateful for the physical healing, the proof of God's ever-presence, but there is always a keener sense of gratitude for the spiritual uplift which comes as a result of this understanding of God.
I am especially grateful just at this time for the escape from many errors of disposition, and for a particular demonstration in overcoming a sense of bitter resentment against one who I thought had tried to injure me. By trying to know daily the Love which forgives us our debts "as we forgive our debtors" and Mrs. Eddy's spiritual interpretation, "Love is reflected in love" (Science and Health, p. 17), this error in my consciousness was eventually destroyed, and with the understanding of its nothingness a sense of peace and love came into my life such as only those who have had a similar experience can appreciate.
Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for the understanding which comes to me every day in renewed proofs of divine Love as able to meet every need, not alone in lifting my own thought above seeming discord, but in enabling me through the understanding of the allness of God to know the truth for all those with whom I come in touch in the daily affairs of life. Only those who are applying this truth daily can know what wonderful opportunities come to us for its demonstration, and the blessings which enrich our own lives as we improve these opportunities. I am deeply grateful for every blessing that has come to me.—MrsMemphis, Tenn.
