My heart overflows with gratitude to God when I think of the many blessings which have come to me and my family through the demonstration of the all-power of Love, divine Principle, as understood through the study of Mrs. Eddy's book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." I cannot recount them all, but one experience I feel it my duty to give, with the hope that it may bring encouragement and help to some mother who is seeking the truth for her little ones.
When my little girl, now three years of age, was born, she manifested good health, but was always quite fretful, would not sleep as she should, and for a year or more had to be amused by some one most of the time. Then, too, her bowels were quite inactive. She was under Christian Science treatment the greater part of this time, but in spite of the inactive condition mentioned she seemed perfectly normal, though she continued to be fretful. When her teeth began to come, the cutting of each one was accompanied with spasms, which left her quite nervous for several days, and she would keep her hands moving constantly, more especially when being fed or when at play. The older she grew the more noticeable this became, until I concluded that it was an inherited condition. I spoke to the practitioner about it, and she said that she would treat her to overcome this belief in a mortal inheritance. From that time on the child became more quiet and satisfied, until all nervousness disappeared; her bowels also became normal and have given no more trouble. She has never had any medicine or any other treatment than Christian Science, and she is now strong and happy, a veritable picture of health.
All problems can thus be solved through this truth, as well today as when taught and demonstrated by Christ Jesus.—, Palo Alto, Cal.
