THE PATH OF HONOR

From the March 1914 issue of The Christian Science Journal

HE that in all things honored God,
Saw man in heavenly guise;
He pierced the palsy and the sin
With his unerring eyes.

As light into the darkness falls,
So Love's forgiveness fell,
And each atonement made for sin
Made naught disease as well.

"Go forth," he said, "to preach the word,
And go to heal the sick!"
If evil then as naught we see,
With us the word is quick.

Heal we disease and sin in one,
And walk the way he trod;
Or we dishonor most his word
Who most did honor God!
