The great truth, called in this age Christian Science, has proved to us that God is not afar off, but near at hand, for we have had many demonstrations of Truth's power as available in all our needs.
Our son was subject to bronchitis every winter. At his last attack, he coughed constantly for two days and complained of pain. He was finally so tired of coughing that at bedtime he asked if he could telephone to a Christian Science practitioner for help. He did so, and was helped immediately. He slept soundly all night, and when he awakened in the morning was entirely well.
In our family Christian Science has also overcome headache, as well as fever and colds, in a very short time. We are thankful to God for the promise that He will heal all our diseases, and also grateful for the broader and happier outlook that Christian Science gives. We grow stronger and better as we gain more understanding of God's love for all and His power to heal all our diseases, even as was proved by Christ Jesus.—Mrs. and Mr. Beatrice, Neb.
