I take great pleasure in writing a few words of thanks to God for the truth that has come to rescue us from all human suffering. Our little boy, when two years old, was ill with a fever. He had not eaten anything to speak of for three days and his fever was very high. My wife was not a Christian Scientist, but she finally gave her consent to treatment; so a practitioner was called upon, and she gave one absent treatment. In thirty minutes the fever was all gone, when the child asked for something to eat and was perfectly well.
Since that time we have had several proofs of the healing power of Christian Science in our family, and I am most grateful for the truth that makes us free.—Beatrice, Neb.
