It is with a heart full of thankfulness to God that I give this testimony to what Christian Science has done for me. In 1910 I was taken ill, and one of our best doctors said my kidneys were affected. He also said I must have an operation, but I refused. I afterward consulted with three other physicians, who said I had a growth that medicine would not reach. I then employed a specialist, but still got no better. I was finally confined to bed, and we sent for our old doctor, who came several times; but one night he told my wife that he would not need to come again, for I was likely to die at any time. We were then asked to try Christian Science, and did so. In twenty-four hours, with two treatments, I got out of bed a well man.
I have been well for over two years, and happy. Everything is good with me now, and I am so thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for the comfort and peace that I have gained by knowing the truth! This world seems much brighter, and I am understanding heavenly and divine things better every day. I hope this testimony will help somebody.—Fredonia, N. Y.
