It is with sincere thankfulness to God for the many blessings I have received through Christian Science, that I wish to tell what Truth has done for me. Eight years ago, after lying on a bed of suffering for nine months on account of a nervous breakdown, I was almost instantly healed by Truth through absent treatment given by a Christian Science practitioner. In January, 1911, I was treated at the birth of my baby. The practitioner began to declare the truth for me at midnight. I had very little pain after the treatment began, and at eight o'clock in the morning the baby was born. I have also been entirely freed from stomach trouble and many other ailments.
It is a pleasure for me to state that my healing has been permanent, and with but few exceptions I have been in perfect health all these years. As a result of my recovery my parents, brothers, a sister, and a number of relatives became interested in Christian Science, and have since been meeting their daily problems through their understanding of the truth. I feel that I have been benefited spiritually as well as physically, and for this I am deeply thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy, through whom this wonderful healing truth has been revealed. — Washington, D.
