I am very grateful for Christian Science, through which I was healed of rheumatism and other ailments, and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, the author of our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." Several years ago I began to study Science and Health, and have never regretted it.
About twelve years ago, when living in Washington, D. C, I fell on the ice and injured my foot. The doctor said the ligaments were torn loose. I was in bed some time and had two doctors, but did not walk much all that winter. In April, 1915, my chair slipped from under me and my left hand was injured in the same way. At first the pain seemed unendurable, but I went to work to know that there are no torn ligaments or breakage in divine Science, and the pain soon left. Then I knew that divine Love had met my need. None of my daughter's family knew of the accident, but I showed my hand to a practitioner, who said that to mortal sense it was badly hurt; yet in three or four days I was using it as if nothing had happened. — Peoria, Ill.
