I can only try to put into words what Christian Science has done for me. Because of my frailty from babyhood it was thought that I had inherited lung trouble. Believing that climate had the power to cure me, I made two trips to the West, but without benefit. The doctors said mine was a rare case of nervous trouble, and that it would be impossible for me to work in an office and live; that to exist I would have to work in the open.
When in the depths of despair I was led to Christian Science. I returned to the office and health was restored to me under the very conditions that the doctors had said were so bad for me. Three years have passed, and during that time glasses have been laid aside after they had been worn for ten years, and a sense of deafness has been overcome. Above all, however, is the priceless knowledge that "my redeemer liveth," and that the healing of sin goes on step by step.
The knowledge that I can help my brother man out of bondage into "the glorious liberty of the children of God," calls forth my gratitude, and my hope is that this testimony may be a glimmer of light to some weary traveler on the sea of human experience. I am trying to express my thankfulness to God, and my gratitude to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, by striving for that Mind to be in me "which was also in Christ Jesus."— Haddonfield, N. J.
