Jesus' promise, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free,"' was proved true to me in my healing through Christian Science a few years ago. For five years previous to that time my health had been constantly failing, and the last year I was almost a helpless invalid. Three years prior to the healing I had undergone an operation, as the physician said the complication could not be met any other way.
I tried other means of relief but to no avail, and in less than a year was worse than before. One physician refused to operate, but the other two said I could never be well unless I submitted to another operation. A dear friend, knowing the physicians' verdict, asked me why I did not try Christian Science. On the following day I consulted a practitioner, and after a few treatments many ailments disappeared one after another.
