It is a great pleasure to testify to all the good I have received through Christian Science. For several years I suffered with bowel complaint, and consequently had to follow a very strict diet. In addition to this I was obliged to stay in bed for two or three days at a time on account of pain in the kidneys. These troubles were not very serious, but in the physician's opinion there was the possibility of their becoming so.
One day I decided to call on a Christian Science practitioner in order to learn something of the subject and to ask for treatment. With the second treatment I felt much better, and soon afterward was completely healed. Though grateful for the physical healing, I am even more so for the mental benefit received. Life seems quite different now that I know God does not send both good and evil, and that He is Love, Life, and Truth, an ever-present help. The reading of Science and Health greatly helps me, now that I begin to be able to translate it for myself and to understand certain passages in the Bible which seemed particularly obscure. I cherish the desire that this marvelous book may be translated into French in order that all who wish to acquaint themselves with this Science, but who have no means of familiarizing themselves with the English language, may drink at the source of living water.
