We feel it a duty and a great pleasure to tell of the happiness that has come into our lives through Christian Science. For two years our boy was troubled with a peculiar nervous disease. It started with sinking spells coming on suddenly, without any warning, while he was asleep. Many times his life was despaired of. This trouble finally developed into what is called epilepsy. Almost every material remedy was tried and he was treated by eleven different physicians. Hygiene and dieting were also resorted to, but to no avail; in fact, he was fast growing worse, both mentally and physically. The last doctor, a specialist, told us nothing could be done for him; but "man's extremity is God's opportunity."
By much persuasion from a relative we were led to try Christian Science, and with the help of a practitioner our despair was soon turned into hope. While the healing was slow, we knew we had found the right Physician. The boy was soon able to resume his school work and is now strong and healthy. Our long, sleepless nights and days have turned into joy and thanksgiving, and we are striving to learn more each day of this truth which makes us free.— South Bend, lnd.
