My blessings since coming into Christian Science five years ago have been so manifold that I feel I should no longer hide my light "under a bushel," but let it shine forth, possibly to help some one struggling for health and happiness.
My little daughter, four years old, had been a victim of asthma for three years, and after one of her attacks she was left with a severe cough. As various kinds of medicine failed to alleviate the difficulty, I determined to try Christian Science treatment for her. The first day she continued to cough and vomit, but after that the cough ceased, and although she had two or three slight attacks within the next few mouths, she has been entirely free from this ailment ever since. Any mother who has been obliged to witness the sufferings of her child will understand my deep gratitude for this wonderful healing.
Four years ago I gave birth to my third child, with scarcely any pain. Measles and whooping-cough have been speedily overcome for both children, and when the boy had the latter, at the age of two years, I was not obliged even once to get up in the night with him.
