I am greatly pleased to be able to testify to the good received through Christian Science. When my youngest child was born there was a small red spot on his face, and it spread all over the body. For two weeks the child had neither rest nor sleep, so I then decided to go to a Christian Science practitioner. She took up treatment in the most loving way, with the result that the child was completely healed in four weeks. He is now nearly three years old and is strong and healthy. The eldest boy, who had whooping-cough, was healed of this trouble in one treatment.
About three years ago my husband was parted from me through death, but that deep sorrow too was soon overcome through the realization of divine Love, and I gratefully testify to the fact that it has sustained me wonderfully with my three children. I am looking forward into the future with firm trust, knowing that "divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health, p. 494). It is with a joyful heart that I tell of the wonderful benefit received some years ago through Christian Science. While working I must have injured my arm, for one day it became very much swollen and there were all the symptoms of blood-poisoning. I consulted a Christian Science practitioner, who very lovingly took up treatment; whereupon the pain quickly subsided, and inside of a few days the arm was completely restored.
