Today as in olden times, simply and lovingly yet logically, like the great Wayshower, Christian Science is leading human thought away from the low levels of materialism, up the sides of the mount of vision; above the fogs of doubt and error, above earth clouds and dream sense, to where reality appears and demonstration of the truth is divinely possible.
Among the many blessings which have come to them through Christian Science, it is possible that there is no one for which Scientists are more sincerely and unspeakably grateful than for the priceless understanding of the Scriptures given them by the beloved Leader. Their thoughts glow with joy and loving appreciation when it is realized how through this understanding they have become possessed of a new yet old Bible,—the same old Bible of earlier years, yet new in the richness of its unearthed treasures, which for ages had lain buried beneath the debris of theological dogma and doctrine; and for this alone humanity today owes the Discoverer of Christian Science an untold tribute of love and gratitude.
That this Science is fulfilling its mission is illustrated by the thousands congregated on Sunday in every part of the world to listen to the healing gospel of Love, whose only preachers are the Bible and the Christian Science text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy; also by the numberless cases of healing which follow the spiritual understanding of the Scriptures gained through study of the text-book. Mankind is surely though gradually awakening to the just recognition of its indebtedness for this glorious heritage, and it is conceding to Mrs. Eddy her rightful place as the inspired interpreter of prophecy and revelation to this age.
