When I awoke last Thanksgiving morning, the thought came to me how grateful I was to God, and to our dear Learder, Mrs. Eddy, for this revelation which she has given to the world in her book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and in her other writings. The study of Christian Science has taught me to see God's creation as spiritual instead of material, and has given me an understanding of God as Love. This understanding was a great comfort to me when a dear one passed on a few years ago, for I felt that peace "which passeth all understanding." Through the study of Christian Science I have been healed of headaches, stomach trouble, chronic bowel disorder, anæmia, heart trouble, rheumatism, and extreme nervousness. Christian Science has also taught me how to love my neighbor as myself.
For all these blessings I am very grateful. I am also grateful for the periodicals and for the Lesson-Sermons; they have been and are a great help to me. My daily prayer is for more understanding, and so to live that I may be worthy of the name Christian Scientist.— Los Angeles, Cal.
