As a child I had very poor eyesight, and at eleven years of age was fitted with glasses but got no better. I suffered from my eyes and severe headaches most all the time, and had no education on that account. After marriage my husband took me to a specialist, who said he could fit me with glasses but I never could be healed. He told me to be very careful with my eyes and to have my glasses changed often. My husband asked him what would be the outcome, and he only shrugged his shoulders. Without glasses I could not see at all.
After my husband was healed I took up the study of Christian Science, and with his help was able to do without my glasses entirely in six months. I have not worn them for almost two years, and can say that I now have perfect sight. I have also been healed of other ailments for which the doctors said an operation was necessary. I am perfectly healthy, and thank God and am grateful to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for Christian Science.—
