In the summer of 1910 I attended my first Christian Science service. I enjoyed it very much and since that time have been attending regularly. For years before coming into Christian Science I had suffered much from stomach disorder, neuralgia, and toothache for which material remedies gave only temporary relief. The following winter was spent at a mining camp several miles from the nearest town, and I did not have any material remedies with me as I wanted to prove what Christian Science could do.
When the first cold weather came, error began to present itself as usual, in the form of toothache. I at once asked for help from my husband, who had been a student of Christian Science for some time and had received class instruction, and I began an earnest study of the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." For two or three days I did only the necessary household work, devoting the rest of my time to studying the truth. By the end of that time the toothache had disappeared and I have not been troubled with it since. The stomach disorder has also been almost entirely overcome.
I am increasingly appreciative of Christian Science, which gives a better understanding of God as ever present Love who meets our every need when we cast our net "on the right side," and I feel deep gratitude to Mrs. Eddy.—Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
