In thinking over all the good that has come to me since taking up the study of Christian Science, I cannot find words to express my gratitude. I have been healed of many false beliefs and have learned that I need not be sick any more than I need to sin.
I did not turn to Christian Science for the physical help, but have had several healings. My small son, five years old, has never taken a drop of medicine. I am so grateful that this little one has the privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday school, and that early in his life the foundation stones of Truth and Love are being laid. I have never had any serious ailments, but always had a sense of limitation, an inability to do many things I desired to do, was easily fatigued, had an impatient, irritable disposition, and was unloving. I loved a few people very much, but only a few. Having been deprived at an early age of earthly parents, I was resentful and filled with bitterness, but Christian Science has turned my thought away from all this, and I am realizing more each day the results of right thinking. I now know that God is Father-Mother, and as His child I cannot lack any good thing.
My love for Mrs. Eddy, the one who restored this new-old truth to us in this age, is boundless, and my desire is so to live that others may turn to this truth which heals and purifies.
