Christian Science has been a great blessing to me for nineteen years. I came to it for the healing of a distressing trouble for which I had been treated by physicians two years without success. Under Christian Science treatment I received a perfect healing which has continued to the present day. Other ills that vanished into their native nothingness by reason of the help of practitioners and my study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" were stomach and bowel disorder, hemorrhoids, and heart trouble.
Christian Science has freed me from the liquor and tobacco habits and given me serenity and peace in place of an excitable temper. It has given me a knowledge of God and His Christ that excels anything this world can offer. It has made me truly optimistic and confident that the kingdom of heaven is not afar off but at hand. It assures me that divine Love is all-powerful, ever present, and that fear, ignorance, and superstition cannot conceal this fact from any sincere seeker for Truth. We do not know what health and joy are until "old Adam" fades away and we are conscious of the dominion of God's perfect, spiritual man. For the measure of this realization which has come to me I am thankful to God and to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy, the revelator of Truth to this age.— Brooklyn, N. Y.
