I wish to express my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me. All my life I had been a great sufferer, with nearly all the ailments to which flesh is heir. I had for many years been under medical treatment, especially for twelve years before turning to Christian Science. It had seemed many times as though I could not go on with my existence; but upon coming into Christian Science discouragement was broken, my outlook brightened, and hope was renewed. Some discordant conditions were overcome in a very short time, while others required more faithful work and study. I was healed of a serious condition of the bowels for which I had been taking opiates; also of stomach trouble of a distressing nature. Glasses, which I had worn for twelve years, were dispensed with, and a heavy belt which the doctors had told me I should always have to wear in order to get about, was removed. The healing for which I am, perhaps, most grateful was that of a condition diagnosed by physicians as neuritis, from which I had suffered greatly for a number of years.
For all these healings and the correction of much wrong thinking, I am deeply thankful to God and to Christ Jesus the Way-shower, also grateful to our Leader, Mrs-. Eddy. Christian Science is meeting my every need.— Washington, D. C.
