In any time of testing, when the combined forces of evil beliefs are arrayed in deadly combat against the forces of good, it is the duty of each Christian Scientist to keep uppermost in thought Mrs. Eddy's emphatic statement given on page 232 of Miscellany, "The right way wins the right of way." It is the further duty of the Christian Scientist to know exactly why this statement is true, and to strive to demonstrate its truth in his every experience.
Really to know that right is supreme and does win, it matters not what are the bold, pretentious claims of wrong, is the constant joy and satisfaction of the alert student of metaphysical causation. It is his daily hope and confidence, the basis of all his courage and strength. To know and understand the omnipotence of right and its ultimate triumph is to be in possession of an unfaltering faith and trust in the almightiness and ever presence of God Himself, and consequently to have no belief in or fear of that supposititious condition called evil. The scientific knowledge that God's power is forever infinite and that there is in reality no other power, is to-day as never before proving itself to be both the quickener and the salvation of the race.
Nineteen hundred years ago the Galilean Prophet demonstrated perfectly the allness of Deity and the unlimited dominion of man as the full reflection of Deity. It was this Exemplar of the Science of Christianity who made plain to those having eyes to see, that a genuine apprehension and a loyal application of deific power make all things possible where good is concerned. Keeping thought centered upon the most high God, and realizing what it meant to be the true image and likeness of God. Christ Jesus worked out his own salvation and thereby pointed the way for all mankind. Conscious only of the supremacy of divine power and of man's infinite possibilities under this power, the Master proved on every hand that the right way, that is, God's way, "wins the right of way," and wins it gloriously!
