With a grateful heart I give this testimony of my quick healing in Christian Science. For fifteen years I had not been without medical treatment, and was constantly becoming worse, suffering greatly from nerve and stomach trouble. After each consultation with a new physician my condition would be somewhat improved, but before long the same old troubles reappeared. I was of the opinion that I had a malignant growth and that there was no help for me. In June, 1914, some dear friends called my attention to Christian Science, so I immediately went to a practitioner, who lovingly received me and discussed Christian Science with me. It was made clear to me that God does not send sickness, and from that day on I was well, even experiencing a beautiful proof the same day, as I was able to walk the whole way back to the train, something which had not been possible for a long time; indeed I was the first one to arrive at the depot. I went home with full confidence in God, feeling so strong that I was able to resume all my duties again, and have been in perfect health ever since.
Christian Science has been a great help to us. Our son, who at that time was fourteen years of age, had very weak eyes and was greatly troubled with them. He was compelled to wear strong glasses, but divine Love soon enabled him to remove them. Now he is able to see everything without them. While my husband was at the front he experienced many wonderful proofs of God's guidance. God alone is our refuge in our needs. I thank God that through loving people He showed me the way to this truth, which has freed me from the error that formerly held me in bondage. I also wish to express my gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the many blessings which mankind is receiving through Christian Science.— Flensburg, Germany.
