This testimony is written in gratitude for a wonderful healing which my little daughter had about two years ago. She was riding downhill one afternoon in a heavy wagon, on the cement sidewalk, when suddenly the wagon overturned, throwing the child out on her head onto the cement walk, resulting in a bad wound on her forehead. In about half an hour she complained that she could not see anything, and a few minutes later was delirious and vomiting. A doctor was called in by a member of the family who was not a Christian Scientist. He said that she was suffering from concussion of the brain.
I had sent for a Christian Science practitioner, who arrived a few minutes before the doctor and began her work at once. The child began to improve almost at once. In two hours she was so much better that she could answer the questions addressed to her, and passed a good night. The next morning, aside from the wound on her head, which soon healed, she showed no signs of the accident, nor has she at any time since. I cannot close without expressing my gratitude for Christian Science, in the course of almost five years I have experienced numerous healings, but the above-mentioned appeared to me the most wonderful of all.— Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
