Having so often received benefit from reading the testimonies of others, I have often wished to express my gratitude to God and to Mrs. Eddy, for the glorious truth as it is revealed to us in Christian Science, by giving to others my testimony of what Truth has done for me.
One night last October, just as I had taken up some important work, I became sick from hemorrhage of tire stomach, which continued for a few hours, and many times I was almost unconscious; but I held to the truth as given to us by our dear Leader, and was enabled to overcome the evil so far as to be able to get up and go about my duties, though far from well. I got speedy and loving help from a practitioner, with the result that I was able to carry on my work and in three weeks was well.
Some years ago I had almost instantaneous healing from the effect of a fall with a heavy box in my hands. Both ankles were very badly sprained, and I became alarmed when the pain and swelling began. I received help immediately from the same practitioner. In a few hours all pain and swelling were gone and next morning all that remained was a slight mark like a cut on the ankles.
