Although I am young in Christian Science and in years, I have, through the loving help of my mother, overcome many of the ailments of childhood. I will tell one or two that stand out in my memory.
One evening, two years ago, I was not feeling very well. When I awoke in the morning, I had a pain in my side which increased as I moved around. My father has not yet found the glorious truth of Christian Science which my mother and I have. He called a doctor, who said it was appendicitis, and that an operation was necessary at once or it would prove fatal. My mother said neither Yes nor No, but was declaring the truth in her own consciousness. I soon fell asleep, and woke up healed.
Last winter my eyes failed me, but this was also overcome through the understanding of Truth. At first my high school work seemed difficult; but knowing that God is the only Mind, I have also been helped in this. I am fifteen years of age. —Muskegon, Mich.
