Nine years ago I became interested in Christian Science. Two weeks after a loving practitioner started work for me I was healed of a very serious nervous condition which months of treatment from a physician had not relieved. For two years my life was very harmonious; but, instead of trying to put into practice the truth I had learned, I became careless and stopped my studies. For about a year I was as miserable as any human being could be. Three times in less than three months I was taken to the hospital. After going through much mental and physical anguish I awakened to the fact that Christian Science was the only aid which could bring me health and happiness,and I am very grateful for this awakening. Christian Science has been my only physician for the last six years. For eighteen months, while my husband was in France, this truth brought me more comfort than I could ever tell, and brought him perfect protection.
It was proved to me that God's Word is "sharper than any two edged sword" when, some months ago, a very sorely infected finger,from which one of my children was suffering, was brought to a head and opened in less than an hour after Christian Science treatment was begun. I have passed through the experience of childbirth twice in Christian Science with scarcely any pain.
Christian Science has brought us everything that is good; and for the healings I have mentioned and for many other demonstrations I am truly grateful to God, to Mary Baker Eddy, and to the loving practitioners who have helped us.— Detroit, Michigan.
