"THE LAND OF CHRISTIAN SCIENCE"*

From the January 1925 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light."—Ephesians 5:8.

Out of darkness, sin, and sadness,
Love divine hath led the way
To a land where peace and gladness,
Joy and love, hold constant sway.
There hath death nor part nor seeming;
Nor can misty mortal dreaming
Dim Life's cloudless day.
Where the rays of Truth are beaming,
Science every thought redeeming,
Pass in glad array
Children of the day.

Hallowed footprints, clear to follow,
Point the way in tender might;
And o'er mountain, plain, and hollow
Shineth forth Love's promise bright,
Storms of heavy sorrow quelling,
Somber clouds of sin dispelling,
Lost in radiant light.
There we hear the Christ-voice telling
God's dear children all are dwelling
Perfect in His sight,
Children of the light!
