For many years I suffered from chronic constipation. Practitioners did not seem to help me, but I left them feeling sure this truth was for me in God's way sometime; and I then learned to wait on God. For years I went to the Wednesday evening testimony meetings with no feeling of gratitude. I loved to go to the Sunday services, but I went to the Wednesday meetings only from a sense of duty, never considering it a privilege, and with no thought of giving. At one meeting, however, a deep feeling of gratitude filled my thought, and I cried, "O God, I am so grateful to be here!" I was instantly healed; and after many years of suffering I was free. This is one of many healings for which I greatly rejoice.
I am deeply grateful for Christian Science; for our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy; for the church which is affording "proof of its utility" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 583); and for the privilege of expressing my gratitude through this channel.— Seahurst, Washington.
