I do not know just where to commence or to leave off in telling of the wonderful change Christian Science has wrought in my life. About six years ago, I suffered from what the physicians pronounced neurasthenia. My mental condition was even worse than the physical; for I was filled with fear, and saw no hope for the future. I was almost constantly taking medicine, and had in all seven physicians, who undoubtedly did their best, but without avail.
At this point a kind friend called my attention to Christian Science. I became deeply interested in it, and with the help of a loving and patient practitioner soon began to learn the truth which surely makes us free. The great fear which held me in bondage gradually disappeared; and for this healing and many others I am profoundly grateful.
When our son entered school, the examining physician discovered he had a heart difficulty. I immediately applied to a practitioner for treatments; and within three weeks, upon another examination by the physician, the child was pronounced entirely healed of the complaint. He was also healed of a severe attack of rheumatism in one treatment.
