With heart overflowing with gratitude to God, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and to Mary Baker Eddy, our revered Leader, I wish to express my gratitude by telling others some of the blessings my children and I have received from the applied truths of Christian Science.
I was laboring under stomach trouble when I caught the first gleam of the light of Christian Science. At that time I was living on a very strict diet because of the belief of not being able to digest starch and sugar, and had been taking milk for six weeks. My sister invited me to attend a Christian Science lecture, which I did; and since that day I have eaten whatever I have wished with no bad after results. I have also been healed of hernia of several years' standing.
In 1918 my two daughters were relieved of influenza in three days with no after effects. Pneumonia was overcome in four hours.
