I wish to express my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me, and is doing for all mankind. Having been born and raised in this Science, with no other help, I have had many wonderful proofs of the efficacy and healing power of Life, Truth, and Love. I am also grateful for the privilege I had of attending the Christian Science Sunday School, which is certainly imparting the truth of being to our young students.
Christian Science has healed many physical ailments in our family, such as measles, diphtheria, scarlet fever, and whooping cough. I certainly am grateful for all these proofs of the healing power of Christian Science. But this Science is not confined to healing physical conditions. It is the Science which teaches the truth about God and man as His reflection. By applying its teachings we can bring their helpful results into our lives, and thus become better men and women.
I am grateful for the many activities of the Christian Science church —the Sunday services, the Wednesday evening testimony meetings, the periodicals, the lectures, the Reading Rooms, the Sunday school; and I am grateful to Mrs. Eddy for having discovered and unfolded this wonderful truth, the leavening power of which is being proved more and more every day.
