UNITY WITH GOD—THINE AND MINE

From the November 1927 issue of The Christian Science Journal

CHRISTIAN SCIENTISTS are engaged in the divine business of demonstrating man's inseparability from God. Through the wondrous light thrown upon the teachings of the Bible by God's revelation to Mary Baker Eddy, all mankind is able, where the desire exists, to experience something of the deep inspiration and spiritual attainment of the prophets, the apostles, and others who have been imbued with the spirit of the Christ.

Man's true or spiritual relationship to his Father-Mother God is indicated with precision throughout the pages of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, where very definite rules are stated, by which all may steadily advance in spiritual understanding to the point where hope stands unchallenged and man's dominion over all evil is assured.

Many channels for the furthering of this purpose are provided in the divinely appointed organization known as the Church of Christ, Scientist. Though these means of enlightenment are provided, it should be very apparent that the utilization of them lies with the individual. That is to say, all the wealth of opportunities for expressing good presented within the Christian Science organization, and the means for improving them, may be made effective only as the individual is reached, enabling him to manifest, at least in some degree, that Mind "which was also in Christ Jesus."
