Five years ago I was stricken with rheumatism; I grew worse, until finally I was in an almost helpless condition. I had no use of my left arm or hand, which was so badly swollen that I could not move my fingers; and I was obliged to carry this arm in a sling for three weeks. I could scarcely lift my feet to walk, could not get in or out of bed alone, and could assist very little when dressing myself. My daughter called a Christian Science practitioner, and very soon I began to improve. I am now able to take long walks and do a great deal to assist with the housework. I am deeply grateful to God, to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and to the practitioner for all the benefits which I have received through the healing power of Truth as revealed in Christian Science.— Dover, New Hampshire.
