I, like many others, wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings which have come to me and to my family through the study of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I wish to mention a few healings we have received. I am a mother of four children, and when my last baby was born I can truly say I experienced a painless and harmonious birth. Another healing was when my baby girl was suddenly taken ill. Before I was aware of her illness, she seemed to be passing away in my arms, her eyes setting and her breath choking. I immediately declared the truth by repeating aloud the "scientific statement of being," as given in our textbook (p. 468). In a very few minutes she became normal. I was so grateful to God for this truth. I called a practitioner because of fear of a return of the trouble. At about twelve o'clock it did return, and she had another spell. I again repeated the "scientific statement of being." She again became normal, and there has been no return of the trouble.
