Through the study of Christian Science, and with the faithful help of a practitioner, the windows of heaven have indeed been opened unto me. I have had many healings, both physical and in a business way.
Over twenty years ago I suffered for three weeks from a condition of the bladder that three doctors failed to diagnose or help. I was kept in a state of coma with drugs. When the doctors told my mother they could do no more, she begged me to let her telegraph to her Christian Science teacher for help. I was too far spent to care, but thought it would please her. In one hour after the telegram was sent I was healed, and in one day restored in appearance to physical health. For many years, however, I sought Christian Science only when ill. Seven years ago I began to study in earnest.
A problem that lasted over a period of two years, in which error threatened to sweep away all that I called my supply, finally was solved. I am grateful to have had this experience, for the period of waiting was indeed filled with spiritual gain. Through the help of the practitioner, fear and dread left me, and I learned to wait upon God. Each payment to be made on my investment was supplied from unexpected sources. I am thankful for the rod that forced me to search out many unlovely thoughts, the staff on which I leaned while struggling to correct these errors.
