It is with great joy that I express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me and mine. It is about seven years since I went to a Christian Science service to ask for help for one of our children, who at that time was in a hospital suffering from a severe bone disease caused by being hurt while playing football. He had undergone three serious operations and had been away from home nine months, and although the doctors and nurses had done their best for him I was told another operation was necessary, and perhaps an amputation of the limb. It was at this point I asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner, and it was very lovingly given. The healing was rather slow, but through the faithful and patient work of the practitioner the healing came, and to-day he is a normal, healthy boy, able to play games like other boys. He was also instantaneously healed of a severe neuralgic headache which had lasted for three days.
The youngest boy was healed of measles in just over two days without any material means whatever, although we called in a doctor to be obedient to the law. He was also completely healed of a septic knee in five days.
My sister was very quickly healed of the effects of a bad fall down a flight of steps. With the little understanding I have gained in Christian Science many minor ills, such as colds, sore throat, and biliousness, have been overcome.
