I have had many healings in Christian Science, and am grateful for them all; but most of all I am grateful for the better understanding of God I have gained through the study of the Bible, together with "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and other writings by Mary Baker Eddy.
I have been healed of a nervous breakdown, colds, constipation, and grief. I was never well and strong until about four years ago, when I was healed through Christian Science. For three years I had been miserable, and for a year had felt doctors could do me no good. One doctor told me I had no organic trouble, but was worn out.
Six months before I took up the study of Christian Science, I moved near a lady who was a student of this Science. She was kind and loving and did much for me. One day, when I was feeling badly, she said: "Doctors have failed. Why don't you try Christian Science?" My husband was worried about me and asked me to try it. I read some Christian Science literature for a short time. My husband wanted this neighbor to call a practitioner, but she said, "No, your wife must want it herself." One day I said to her, "Something must be done, and right away." She then called a practitioner, who came to see me. After the first few treatments I was a different woman, and in six months was so changed my friends hardly knew me. I am well, strong, free, and happy.
