I am filled with gratitude for the healing power of Christian Science, which is always available when correctly applied. For many years it has been my only physician for physical ills, for the solving of all problems of human experience, and also for the healing of grief.
I wish to relate a healing for which I am particularly grateful. While caring for a member of the home who was experiencing a very distressing and exacting illness, I was suddenly stricken with a fever. I was not able to retain any food, and became unconscious, remaining so for several days. Through the loving help of a practitioner I finally regained consciousness, and in a remarkably short time was restored to better health than I had enjoyed for many years. During this time the one idea uppermost in my thought while experiencing moments of consciousness was, God is my Life.
My gratitude is unbounded for all the activities of our Cause, for the Christian Science literature, which brings into the home its beautiful and healing messages, and which is the result of our beloved Leader's pure life devoted to good and the cause of humanity. I enjoy membership in The Mother Church and in one of the branch churches, and am grateful for class instruction, and for the opportunity to be of service to others. The study of Christian Science reveals God to man and the relationship of man to God; this understanding is a constant guide in our daily lives.— Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
