I have read with gratitude the published testimonies of others in our Christian Science literature. It has occurred to me, since the way has not yet opened for my attending Wednesday evening meetings and therein expressing my gratitude, that I too should make use of the Journal and no longer delay the giving.
I am increasingly grateful for the way whereby my children have been able to attend a Christian Science Sunday School. The eager opening of the receptive child-thought, with consequent unfolding of the buds of spiritual knowledge, is a source of daily wonder and joy to me.
For the growing ability to meet the children mentally on the now common ground of spiritual knowledge, and so defeat the claims of error of various types as they arise, I am humbly thankful. An inner ear abscess, to which one son was in bondage from birth, was healed in two hours through Christian Science, when on previous occasions, with medical care, it was never relieved under twelve to twenty-four hours, and then only by painful surgical help.
