It is a wonderful privilege and a sacred duty to express my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me. The dawning of this glorious truth in my consciousness was the beginning of a new life for me. For two years and six months I suffered from a diseased hip bone, during which time I was given different kinds of medical aid. Seven months were spent in a hospital, but I was no better. I had been at home four weeks when I was asked by a friend to try Christian Science. She lent me a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, but I did not seem to get the right meaning of it, so we decided to call in a Christian Science practitioner; and through the faithful and loving work of the practitioner I was healed in three months.
For this wonderful healing I am grateful from the depths of my heart, and I thank God for these proofs of His love and goodness. I am also sincerely grateful to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.— Oldham, Lancashire, England.
